How to get your staff onboard (when it's the last thing they want to do!)

So...when we're doing our site visits, and our clients see us coming along with our cameras.. they hide 🙈 

Seriously!

We get it..

Your staff don’t want to have their pics taken for your company's social media page.

Again, we get it.

Looking like a dork on social media can be social suicide to them 🤦‍♀️

True.

But here's the thing- to have a successful social media page, it need's to be engaging.

Posts with people in them get the most likes, engagement and reach 💁

Getting your staff onboard with your social media strategy can make a huge difference. 

It doesn't have to be hard (or bad) 

You have to get buy-in from your staff, so here’s a few tips on how best to do this...

  • Involve them.  Gather them round, put on a few drinks/pizzas, and tell them why you’re doing what you’re doing.  Talk them through how your social media strategy fits into your overall marketing plan.  When staff feel on the same level and can see what your reasoning and vision is for your social media, they’re more likely to understand the method behind your madness.
  • Show them the results.  Show your staff how a post did with people in it, and how it positively affected your business.  Did you sell out of that dish they were holding? Tell them.  Did your post hit high engagement?  Show them.
  • Incentivise them (aka bribe them)  Everyone loves a challenge and the chance of a reward.  Sometimes it just takes a little persuasion to get them to get their pic taken.
     

It always comes back to this.. 

People do business with people they know, like and trust.  

Get your team on the same page.. and watch your sales soar 📈
